A Tent for All Families Who Call Southold “Home”
During Founding Families Weekend, a tent will be set up with long tables and chairs. On each table there will be a small bulletin board where family members can leave messages for other family members. Also, these tables will provide an initial meeting place.
Around the perimeter of the tent, there will be long horizontal display boards with a timeline starting in 1640 and ending in 2017. On this timeline, we will be displaying information and pictures from all families that call Southold “home”.
Please download and print the questionnaire about our timeline. If you are descended from more than one Founding Family, please feel free to print additional sheets
The Southold Historical Society and the Planning Committee of the Founding Families Weekend are proud to present to the community and SHS members an exciting weekend filled with activities that will bring us all back to the very early days of Southold.
