Crushing Violets to perform at Horton Point Lighthouse on 7/26!

July 1, 2014 PRESS RELEASE – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE “Crushing Violets to Perform at Horton Point Lighthouse on 7/26!" SOUTHOLD, NY. The Southold Historical Society is pleased to announce that the rock band Crushing Violets will perform at the Horton Point Lighthouse on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 6 p.m. The lighthouse is located at 3575 Lighthouse Road, Southold, NY 11971.

The Crushing Violets is a band that blurs the lines between melodic and heavy & darkness and light. The love of many genres is apparent in music that blends together in a unique style all their own. Hailing from Mattituck NY, The Crushing Violets are: Antanina Brooks - Vocals, BP Brooks - Lead Guitar/Vocals, Trevor Brooks - Rhythm Guitar, Connor Brooks - Bass Guitar.

Tickets are $10 per adult and may be purchased at the gate on the day of the event, children under 12 are free. Please remember to bring your own chair if you do not want to sit on the lawn of the lighthouse, picnicking is welcome. In case of rain, the performance will be held at the Southold First Presbyterian Church, 53100 Main Road, Southold, NY 11971.
