A Magic Carpet Tour of the Lighthouses of Southold Town: Icons of our Maritime Heritage by Ted Webb

Southold Town has more lighthouses than any other township in the United States. The eight lighthouses are Plum Island, Orient Point, Latimer Reef, Little Gull, Race Rock, Horton Point, Long Beach Bar and North Dumpling. Ted Webb, resident of Orient and extraordinary tour guide to the Lighthouses, will share his knowledge of these unique and intriguing maritime landmarks.

Ted Webb will engage all in comparing the lighthouses and help us to imagine what lighthouses could be like in the future. Children will have the opportunity to use their imaginations to design a new lighthouse for Southold.

Fees: These lectures are open to the public. There are no fees for these lectures.
