Cosden and the creation of his Long Island estate named “Eastward.” The 40+ acre estate was located along Soundview Avenue just north of Southold hamlet. This new publication includes a detailed history of the estate, an examination of Cosden's horse racing activities (he won the Belmont Stakes in 1928), and over 75 period images of the mansion, grounds, and family.
