Victorian High Tea on June 14!

June 3, 2015

PRESS RELEASE – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

“Victorian High Tea to be held on June 14, 2015 in Southold”

SOUTHOLD, NY. The Southold Historical Society is pleased to announce that they will be hosting a Victorian Tea in conjunction with the First Presbyterian Church of Southold in honor of the Southold Town’s 375th Anniversary. The tea will be held at the Historical Society’s Museum Complex which is located at 55200 Main Road, Southold, NY 11971.

Along with a scenic setting, attendees will enjoy tea sandwiches and assorted sweets. Tea will be presented in individual teapots and each table will be decorated with a table prize of a tea cup planted with flowers. The Historical Society complex will be open for tours as well.

Chris Wruck, Historical Society secretary, stated, “I am looking forward to a wonderful afternoon with many attendees. It has been an enjoyable activity for our volunteers to work alongside those of the Presbyterian Church.”

The Tea will be from 1-3pm on June 14, 2015. Pre-registration is suggested as space is limited. Contact Chris Wruck at 765-4614 to make your reservation. A small donation would be appreciated.
